Coca Cola Christmas Carousel
After winning a nation wide contest to get the project, we were entrusted with the enormous challenge of entertaining more than 100,000 visitors over two weeks during the holiday season.
Starting from the ground up, we designed and built an original rotating ride system capable of carrying 120 guests simultaneously across six 20-passenger vehicles. Every 60 seconds, one group of 20 guests boarded while another group completed the experience and disembarked, creating a continuous flow through six immersive stations.
Station 1 — Boarding
Guests began their journey in an airport-inspired boarding area, where they entered their ride vehicle and prepared for their flight to the North Pole.
Station 2 — Launch Station
Before takeoff, guests were welcomed by Rudolfo the Red-Nosed Reindeer—an animated digital puppet capable of interacting with the audience, asking questions and preparing everyone for launch.
Station 3 — Polar Villa
Upon arriving at the North Pole, guests discovered a beautifully illuminated polar village. A choreographed dancing fountain welcomed them with synchronized water, light and music.
Station 4 — Santa’s House
A life-size holographic Santa greeted the visitors and shared heartfelt messages about family values and the importance of spending the holidays together.
Station 5 — Santa’s Toy Factory
Children entered Santa’s magical toy factory, where they watched toys being assembled, transported and gift-wrapped before their eyes through animated machinery and moving conveyors.
Station 6 — Disembarking
At the final station, guests exited the ride as the next group prepared to board. Before leaving, children could greet Santa and place their Christmas wish lists inside a large chest beside the fireplace.
The Coca-Cola Christmas Carousel combined custom ride engineering, interactive characters, projection, holographic effects, synchronized fountains, theatrical lighting and animated scenery to create a seamless holiday experience for thousands of families.
